There is something in our lives that we all rely on every day, we look at it all the time anticipating or dreading that it won’t run out. Time is a constant variable in our life, we wake up at a certain time, we go to work or school at a certain time, and we sleep at a certain time. We depend on it, we created it to help us become a civilized people. Our evolutionary advancements have made us such intelligent beings that we created a universal organized and regimented number system for how a “day” should operate. On Earth, we are able to witness time do its thing as people age and the changes in nature. Yet if you venture out into space and there is space all around you time doesn’t really exist. It is a tool that is used to make life simpler, so to stay by providing it with an outline of what your life should be like. Now, this is all very well, but people should remember to do things for themselves, live life how they see it fit want it. Time is something that never stops, it is unable to be retrieved because it is already in the past, there is no way of going back to that point. Just as each moment you read this you are in the present but the present is constantly fleeting before us. And for the future, it is something we can only hope and predict upon. But that shouldn’t deter you from much, because thinking and analyzing perhaps overthinking most situations is in our nature, we are a being who has lasted this long due to calculating each of our decisions and prospering from those triumphs. Time is something to be aware of so you don’t lose track of your life, but it also shouldn’t be something that frightens you and convinces one to retract back to your cave.
